Personally I view blockbuster films as legitimate entertainment. I think films such as star wars, Indiana Jones, and E.T are fantastic movies that are now timeless classics. Some view the films as just way to sell products and tickets. Is this wrong? I don’t feel that it is wrong because selling products is only a fragment of what these films are all about. I feel these films bring real insight in to what it is to be human or a part of the universe. On another note these films like all good art took lots of time and energy. Directors such as Steven Spielberg but lots of passion in to these pieces of art. These films play a significant part of child hood they were basically mile stones. Going beyond the view of theses films being good or bad, they have merit. They absolutely deserve some respect for actually going threw and making these historical masterpieces
